Web 2.0 is not just for the classroom. The use of Web 2.0 tools can increase and improve communication, collaboration, and cooperation across all levels of a school or education organization. This wiki, which is the companion wiki to the new book Wikified Schools: Using Wikis to Improve Collaboration and Communication in Education, was developed to explore the use of a wiki as a highly effective communication and collaboration tool that enhances the effectiveness of school or district leadership teams.
* Web 2.0 & Marzano’s Classroom Instruction That Works
Wiki linking Web 2.0 tools with the 9 categories of Classroom Instruction That Works. This wiki is being used by school districts and technology integration specialists across the country for teacher professional development sessions. Registration is free and all registered users are able to add their own examples and tools.
* EduPlan & GlobalSchool
Both of these wikis are being used by educators around the world to collaborate on planning and developing ideas for a school or schools that will meet the needs of 21st century students. Everyone is welcome to join in!
* XpandingBoundaries
A wiki developed to be a “clearing house” of information on “calls for proposals” for sessions and presentations at a variety of non-educational technology conferences as a way for Edubloggers to share information outside of educational technology networks.
